So if Freely can get the likes of Dave and Watch on their service why can’t EE?

That’s just one of the lesser reasons why I will be saying goodbye to EETV when my contract expires.

I am the same to be honest. And also if the Great channels are added.

EE Apple TV box, EE mini box, Full Fibre 900, Sky Stream

@CheddletonShark  Because it’s not EE decision.  EE don’t hold the rights to those channels to just stream them.    There’s the law to take in to consideration as this would probably be classed as an illegal streaming service should EE do such a thing without prior consent.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

You would have thought after all the years that they would have an agreement in place, BT TV were first around the table, sky stream and freely came after and have had their coffee and after eight mints, while BT / EE are still waiting for their deserts to be served.

It will need  EETV to reach agreement with the broadcasters. Since 2022 when EETV introduced the ip mode freetoair  channels there has been very litlle sign of increase to  the range of  freetoair channels, Clearly other platforms have reached agreements with popular channels that EETV haven't..

I have Freely built into my TV, I’ve just checked Dave & Watch and both are currently in SD/ via my aerial (Freeview) as opposed to streamed (like itv 3 for example).
I hear what you’re saying about EE TV channels but my experience of Freely hasn’t been plain sailing either.
It’s frustrating that Sky stream is the only service providing HD channels via streaming  - allowing them to charge eye watering prices for what are FREEview UKTV channels.

Hi, that’s strange,  looking on the freely site they list all the U channels as streaming.

Thanks for link:

I’ve retuned my TV channels and these are both still via Freeview instead of Freely.
I think there is a difference when you run your TV in hybrid/ “top up” mode with an aerial as to what channels you get streamed or not.
ITV 2/3/4 and the extra channel 4 and 5 channels are all streamed: the UKTV channels not so, at least not on my Panasonic TV.

Thanks for info, would be interesting to see if you get these without the aerial connected.
