Hiya, got onto hbo and getting TNT sports no probs. Bit unsure as series and films are unavailable to me  on hbo but when I was on discovery+ I could watch other stuff on there, and on testing, I can still watch stuff on discovery.. wee bit confused.com  with all this...🤯😂

If your TNT Sports subscription is through EE mobile then you only have access to sport in HBO Max, and your access to discovery+ will end within the next 10 days.

If your access is via an EE TV subscription then your access to discovery+ will remain until you change your TV contract. You'll still only have access to Sport, but if you also have Now entertainment on your TV package then you can request access to add HBO Entertainment to your account.

Hi @dfrob24

How do you subscribe via your mobile tariff.

Checking my mobile tariff I have have the "TNT Sports on HBO Max" and like you can access the programs (which I watch on the discovery plus app) and access sports on the HBO app but not the TV series or movies.

Thanks

Hiya, thanks for the reply, yeh, I'm on ee broadband with EE TV (originally started off with BT but got moved over somehow) Right enough current 24 month contract not up yet, good to know that discovery will cease then. Big kudos

I don't have  ee via my mobile. I got put onto ee home broadband after upgrading my broadband tariff from BT ...👍

So I have TNT sports through HBO as part of my phone contract. Is there anyway to add hbo max as well? Creating a separate account to watch HBO max content doesn’t make sense?

Yes @Chris7503 - you can add other subscription packages to the same account on hbomax.com (it's just the apps that won't allow you to add).

This hasn’t worked. Whilst you were right in that i could add the hbo max tv through their website and not the app, its now deleted the sport from my account. I’ve no idea how to get it back.

It's not possible for you to delete Sport from the account via the HBO Max web site, but you just happened to upgrade on the same day that a data cleanse happened.  As part of the migration from discovery+ to HBO Max, all active discovery+ accounts were copied to HBO Max, but then a task was undertaken to map all those accounts back to their bill.  For accounts that couldn't be mapped, a temporary subscription was added to continue service whilst investigations continued.  On May 7th/8th, the temporary subscriptions were cleaned up - those that still couldn't be mapped to an account were removed.

As your subscription is via EE Mobile, you'll need to call their helpdesk (https://ee.co.uk/help/contact-ee) and ask them to confirm your eligibility.  If you should still be entitled to TNT Sports, then ask them to reset the activation to allow you to activate again.  You can do this on the account that you just purchased Entertainment on, to allow them to exist together.

Ok thanks for the tip. I found that within the EE app this morning there was an option to reactivate TNT sports. I followed the process on screen and it reactivated it in the HBO app along with my HBO streaming. All working. Thanks for the quick responses.
