If you have a Sport subscription:
If you already used the discovery+ app then log into the HBO Max app with the same account.
If you haven't activated your discovery+ account then log into My BT or EE (depending who your broadband is with) to start the activation process. Once activated there, you can use the app.
If you have an entertainment subscription:
You don't need to use the HBO Max app. All the same content is available in the Now TV app, at the same quality. If you have Now Boost then you'll also get everything ad-free in Now TV whereas you'll have ads on everything in HBO Max.
