HBO Max and Full Work Package

Hi,

I have the full works package. I have logged into the HBO app which pulls through the TNT sports subscription, but doesn't pull through the NOW subscription. I understand some of the content is on the Now TV app, but would prefer it if it's also on the HBO one.

Is this going to be rectified, considering technically I do have both a Now and TNT subscription?

I went onto the Now chat line and they ended the call!

So if reading this right as a full works ee customer we just have to go to the HBO Max App for TNT Sports , everything else should be available on the Now App, movies , series etc ??

Hello, I’ve the same issue accept my tnt subscription isn’t pulling through - the HBO app says I’ve no subscription but I am on the full works package. Please advise

Just to make you aware, the NOW app does not contain all of the content in certain scenarios.

For instance, the Wizard of Oz movie. If you have Entertainment + HBO Max only (so no Cinema membership), the NOW app will not let you watch it - it’ll say you need to upgrade to Cinema. However, this film is watchable on the HBO Max app with your included Entertainment + HBO Max membership.

It seems whenever the same content is on Cinema and HBO Max, NOW gives the Cinema membership precedence and does not let you watch it.

Just an update following the above tread and you kindly providing the link to contact NOW.

Using the link I reached out to NOW.  They came back with an email containing a series of security questions and this morning have came back with a further  email that had a link, which enabled me to connect my account to the HBO Max app.

Just checking on our TV, computer and mobile I can now access all of the content I was hoping too (on top of TNT sports). On the subscription page I now have the additional subscription of "Basic with Ads" as well as "TNT Sports".

I had the same problem but thanks to your advice the subscription was quickly updated by contacting NOWTV through the Chat service.

All up and running within minutes

Hi

I am stressed OAP who just wants to press a button to make things work.
I have an EE/BT package for Sky Sports and TNT etc. and I want access to HBO Max. I turn on my tv and press the new HBO MAX app and try to follow the on screen instructions but I soon disappear down the rabbit hole!

I don’t want to pay any more; I just want to get what I am apparently entitled to without an stress-induced heart attack. Is that possible?
any help gratefully received.

@Uric if you didn't use the discovery+ app before, then there's no need to use the HBO Max app now - it's all the same content.

If you did use the discovery+ app before, then the HBO Max app would have signed in automatically.

If you absolutely do want to try the HBO Max app out, then you'll need to activate your account first.  Visit https://id.ee.co.uk/ and select the "Plans & Subscriptions" link in the top right corner.  From there you'll see HBO Max mentioned, where you can click a button to "Start Activation".

I have the full works package with TNT sports. Is it possible to get full access to HBO?
