HBO Max and Full Work Package

Hi,

I have the full works package. I have logged into the HBO app which pulls through the TNT sports subscription, but doesn't pull through the NOW subscription. I understand some of the content is on the Now TV app, but would prefer it if it's also on the HBO one.

Is this going to be rectified, considering technically I do have both a Now and TNT subscription?

It's recommended that you continue to watch it in the Now TV app, where all the same content is still available at the same quality.  If you really do want to use the HBO Max app for it, then you can request that it's added to your HBO Max profile by contacting Now TV - they control the subscription, and we cannot do this for you.  They're currently only offering this service via online chat, from this screen here (live chat is only available during helpdesk hours):

I have exactly the same issue - thanks to your post and the below reply I have just emailed NOW using the below link as the new app is useless currently  and I cannot access any content through HBO Max app, just sport - I am assuming alot of people will be in the same boat.

Hopefully they will correct the subscription issue (checking the HBO Max app in subscription it only has me down for TNT sports)  as my concern is the content will be moved from NOW due to the launch.

Content will not be moved - Now TV have guaranteed that they will remain in sync with HBO Max for the content, which is why they're recommending everyone continue to use the Now TV app.  There are currently no plans for Now TV to synchronise their memberships with HBO Max - it will be by-request only, via their live chat.

Thanks for the confirmation - seems strange to launch such an app and not provide the correct access to the content.  If not careful a few people will make the mistake of paying twice, for access they should have, by setting up an additional subscription on HBO Max.

Commercial decisions don't always make sense to the customer unfortunately @NeilMac18 - Now TV and HBO Max aren't the same company, so I'm sure you can imagine the commercial implications of what's going on.

Absolutely- very good point.  Alot of players here and with content being king I am keen to get the correct access through HBO Max - many thanks for providing the link previously.   I will let you know if they reply and/or add the correct subscription

I had read we get standardalone access via now. Process literally took 2 mins and can see both NowTV subscription (basic with ads) and EETV TNT on the hbo subscription.

How did you do that - what is the process?  

I can see HBO Max in the top bar of NOW and everything works fine - but going directly to the HBO Max appI get in but as per the original post only has me as TNT sports and cannot view any other content apart from sports
