Hi,

The GBNews app keeps freezing when I watch it. Within 5 seconds of watching, the picture freezes but you can still hear them talking.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Isn't that a good thing? 🤣

That is abit rude, unfair and judgemental of you to say such a thing!

What I choose to watch is my choice.

You're right, I apologise. The smiley wasn't really enough to soften it.

This is a forum for EE services only.

The GBNews app is not related in any way to EE, therefore I suggest that you contact the devs of the GBNews app themselves.

Or, to go with @RG999 comments already, just delete the app and watch a proper news channel instead 🤣

@infinitywaiter it is on the youview boxes supplied by EE. These apps need to be built specifically for the youview platform, so EE should be able to raise this with YouView.

You also can't delete the app, regardless of your taste of news channel or other views. Each to their own.

@Russell28 it is a relativey new app so maybe there will be a fix released soon

EE Apple TV box, EE mini box, Full Fibre 900, Sky Stream

@Weerab2024    Actually this could be simple as in a network streaming issue.    And GB news app isn’t a new thing it’s been around for a while  ( 2 years or so ) so the developers certainly know how to code an app.     And just to point out this is the first issue I’ve seen with this app on this platform mentioned on here having this issue.  And I do believe GB news has been available since launch of the product, so definitely at present an isolated issue.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Ignore the rude replies GBNews is a channel that supports free speech and we should all support that.

In the same way we should all support people saying they don’t like GB News.
