Freedom to change your package each month!!!!!!!!!!! , but you are unable to do it online or in the app, you have to call and wait for someone to answer, been like this since it changed from bt, bit of a shambles,  6 months  free apple tv there waiting for me, but evertime I go to get it, it wants me to start a new broadband package, 10 months left on my TV contract can't wait to leave, oh  and Netflix ain't that great..

I dont believe what I am reading. I tried to amend my package (by phone) in each of the last two weeks, but because of "systems issues", nobody could help me! I was promised a call back after my first attempt, but that didnt happen.

Same result with my second attempt last week and my promised call back is supposed to happen by tomorrow. It will be interesting to see what happens next in the light of this announcement.

Thank You for  pointing out the availability of moving between packages during the term of current EETV package contract term

Clarification please -  As there are different rules and contractual considerations  if flexing your EETV package

Upgrade your EE TV package

You can upgrade to get more channels and content without waiting for your contract to end.

Downgrade your EE TV package

If you no longer need as much content, you can move to a lower‑tier option without ending your contract.

Whilst if you move  from Entertainment to Big  Entertainment or Full Works it would obviously be an Upgrade.as you are acquiring additional content.

If you moved from Full Works to a lower tier it would be a Downgrade as you are reducing your content.

But if you moved from Sport or Big Sport to one of the Entertainment or Big Entertainment or the other way are they considered Upgrades or Downgrades as you are effectively replacing one type of content with another.

Does this mean that Netflix are finally playing nicely with EE TV and will be available in the search results and show up in the watchlist on my TV??

Hi @Dav515 ,

Thanks for visiting the EE Community

We're always looking to improve the search experience on EE TV, but Netflix isn't available in 'search', 'continue watching' or 'watchlists' for now'. Thanks your for your feedback though, we've passed it on.

In think that  customers do deserve a timeline for either providing Netflix again as part of the EETV (Youview)  core search functionality or the introduction of EETV Smart Search on those boxes .When Smart Search  was launched in March this was said

Smart Search and Mood Matcher are available now via the EE TV app on compatible TV devices, with plans to extend availability to EE TV Pro and EE TV Box Edge customers at a later date.

With Smart Search and Mood Matcher, EE TV continues its mission to simplify entertainment by bringing together live channels, streaming apps and on-demand content into one seamless experience - making it easier than ever for viewers to find their next favourite show.

You know better than that @zulu17 - timelines are never given until things are ready.

Further to my post on 14 July, earlier today I received a telephone call from EE Executive Complaints. I was advised that my complaint had still not been resolved and I was further told that there would be a further report next week.

After three weeks of waiting to "Flex" my tv package, I decided that, despite constant promises from EE, the constant delays were not worth the hassle. The Executive Complaints representative agreed that I could terminate my current tv package, without early termination charges.

My connection was terminated within 3 hours. Funny though, they couldn't provide an improved package in 3 weeks!!!

The provision of tv services by EE has, in my opinion, gone down hill rapidly.

@Ulsterdave an account can be cancelled from any state - even if it's broken.  Unfortunately orders cannot be placed until an account is in a known good state - this is to prevent unexpected mistakes on bills, or supply of incompatible products.

Sorry that we weren't able to fix your account in a timely manner.
