Just switched to the sport package which includes the entertainment package (but not the entertainment package shown) as they are called the same package but are completely different and EE want to now to charge an extra £9.99 a month to get the package I thought I was getting????? Anyone else had this, so mad right now 😡

The Sports package includes "discovery+ entertainment" - not the Now TV entertainment package. The full breakdown of all packages and what is included is at https://ee.co.uk/tv/

It would help if you didn't call two different products the same thing 🤔 plenty of room for confusion and an easy way for EE to upsell!!!

The EE TV packages are Entertainment, Big Entertainment, Sport, Big Sport, and Full Works.  These include various combinations of products (that we didn't name) from other providers, including:

TNT Sports

Now TV Sports

discovery+ Entertainment

Now TV Entertainment

The screenshots you've included don't show any indication that Now TV Entertainment would be included in the Sports package, and the link to see what's included gives a very clear list of the channels available in each package.

I suspect that this confusion  has occurred  due to the way the discovery + subscriptions were renamed.

A EETV SPORT  package would have included a discovery+ PREMIUM subscription. That was renamed to  a discovery +  TNT SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT subscription. I suspect that when this renaming  occurred EE probably  replaced the wording  from PREMIUM to TNT SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT.

So @AR95  I don't  believe that EE were seeking  to upsell or confuse you, but do feel that the change of name  of the discovery + subscription  has contributed  to the confusion and perhaps this should have spotted when it was made.

The names mentioned in the EE packages exactly match the packages offered by the content providers - for total clarity and transparency. We couldn't continue to use the "Premium" name when it no longer existed as a package with discovery+.

Other than putting quotes around "discovery+ TNT Sports & Entertainment", I don't know what else could be done differently?

Thank you zulu17 for your reply. Much better explanation than received from calling EE!  The marketing department have some work to do as it isn't clear and obvious.

Still really mad and disappointed from a company that used to be quite respectful in my opinion.
