I’m currently with sky using their sky stream box but looking to move away as prices shooting up. I’ve looked at the currently deal broadband and tv by EE (BT), and it says I get a tv box pro, but I wouldn’t have space for that and would just like a mini box, is it possible to just get a mini box instead on its own?

Hey there @Jamesenty123, welcome to the EE Community 😊
I've had a check here, and you should be able to select just the Mini box at checkout, or you can also go for the Apple TV 4K option too.
Just be aware that these boxes only support TV over the internet, so you're not able to connect an aerial like you can with the Pro Box.

Just to clarify @Jamesenty123 if you took an EE TV package with EE broadband you would have the Apple TV option which you should consider as an alternative to the minibox if space is a consideration. IF you take BT broadband the AppleTV box is not a current option when taking EETV.

Can’t you slot the Box Pro in where the now redundant Sky Stream box went?

Channels in IP mode aren't as vast as the EE offering so if you are after the U channels other than gold or alibi, you may want to weigh up just using the U app.

If you use the pro box you can get the fee to air channels with the pro box when set up in aerial mode but on the mini box and apple TV box you would need to revert to the U channel, which doesn't offer live feeds of the free to air channels
