What is it?

Sky Stream is a plug and play box which streams Sky’s epic entertainment line up over WiFi. No satellite dish needed.

This gives you access to all shows, movies and live sports from Sky, as well as all your favourite TV apps.

Availability

• Sky Stream is available as a standalone service or with EE Broadband (offering faster speeds in more locations than any other provider in the UK)
• Sky Stream from EE can be paid for on a rolling monthly or 24-month plan

You have 3 box options with EE TV:

1. EE TV Box Pro , a hybrid Freeview/Internet channels box that can use a traditional aerial and the internet to deliver channels, or just the internet. This box does not have some apps (like Disney+), but can record TV. The channels it offers and what it can record depends on how you set it up.
2. EE TV Box Mini - same as above apart from it is WiFi only, you cannot connect an aerial and does not record. If you are use to Sky Q, it is worth noting that this box does not connect to the EE TV Box Pro and cannot share recordings.
3. Apple TV 4K - is a very powerful streaming device that when bought from EE, includes a version of the EE TV app that delivers a full live TV guide (their internet version of Freeview channels + any subscriptions you buy). It is a much more powerful device than Sky Stream, has access to all the apps you could need but does not record and you can only have 1 from EE currently.

Excellent how much is the box and do I require a subscription.  Also does sky sports via ee give me sky go as well.

You will need EE broadband, a box is included and you will need to choose at least a basic entertainment subscription: https://ee.co.uk/tv 

No Sky Go, instead you would use apps directly such as iPlayer, itvX, discovery+ or NOW.
