EE broadband drops every time I turn EE tv off

Recently joined EE TV and Broadband. The broadband is working fine, have no issues. Every time I turn my EE tv off and then back on again the it comes up with code YVM102. If I reset the box it connects and works but I have to do this every time I want to watch tv after it being turned off. Ive reset the router and the box several times and it still does it.

@Stevensc16

Ah, you don’t mean your broadband drops, you mean your Box loses its connection to the router ; a rather different and rather less drastic thing.

Are you using WiFi, or a wired Ethernet connection?

Either way, see the thread this posting:-

https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/TV/code-Yvm102/m-p/1429405/highlight/true#M3801

is in. If you are on WiFi, read no further that that posting, but if you are on Ethernet, read on, and perhaps post in that thread, about someone with the same issue, @Lee14801 .

Especially if you could kindly try WiFi first, if you are indeed on Ethernet. (Though bear in mind that WiFi might just then drop into the original known problem).

The known issue is specifically with the TV Box Mini, when connected to an EE Smart Hub.

@Stevensc16 your issue appears to be with a TV Box Pro connected via Wifi to an EE Smart Hub, and you've seen it 29 times in 3 days - that's way above normal.

Unfortunately I don't have the ability to raise faults like this - I recommend you call us and ask for a fault to be raised, as it needs further analysis.
