EE TV channels

I just got EE TV but only get channels 320 to 463.

Any idea what could be wrong? 
I was told I don’t need an TV ariel.

Which set top box did you choose? Apple TV, TV Box Pro, or TV Box Mini?

I believe you need an aerial for freeview channels. (I did, but they may have updated since then (2020). You should be able to get on demand stuff though. All depends on the package you bought.

If its the Pro box did you set it up with arieal plugged in and remove it after? You would need to reset it with the arieal unplugged and select IP mode during setup.

Surely the mini box or apple TV would setup in IP mode by default as there is no arieal connector

@shy_mocha I can confirm that this issue is now resolved, but unfortunately you'll need to factory reset your Apple TV.  When it comes back up, it'll be properly recognised as an EE TV Apple TV, and provide access to all channels.

I have exactly the same issue.  Yet my mini box shows more channels?

@Liz247 your TV Box Pro is in aerial mode (i.e. there's an aerial connected to it), however that aerial isn't providing any signal - so no channels were found.

You either need to get the aerial fixed, or disconnect it and factory reset the TV Box Pro to put it into internet mode.
