EE TV Remote flashes green not purple

New EE tv customer, I've tried to set up my remote, everywhere says to reset it it should flas purple 3 times, mine only flashes green. It wont control my telly which is a c 7 year old LG. When I go on settings on the ee box and select bluetooth remote it says "unpaired" but it still works the box?

Tried new batteries, tried home +7 still showing as unpaired.

OK. I think the best option would be to arrange for your TV Box and remote to be swapped. Is that OK? Something isn't making sense with what you have.

If you're happy with this, just let me know the serial number of the TV Box you have, and I'll arrange for a replacement to be sent and the existing one collected.

That's great to hear - it confirms there's an issue with the box or remote that you had.  We'll test them to find out what went wrong, and hopefully see if there's anything we can do to identify if others are affected too.

Please don't do anything with the old box and remote - don't reset them.  Just put them in their box, and a courier will collect it from you this week.
