EE Mini TV Box

We have just gotten round to trying to setup our 2nd mini to box, but the remote is not pairing correctly with the box, it will power it on and off but not move or select options to setup. I have tried disconnecting everything removing batteries and then starting all from fresh but still no luck. We had an engineer visit arranged but was not able to help with the to issue as the call was only logged for internet issues… any help/guidance is welcomed. We have also requested a replacement box but to no avail and the reason the engineer was sent?

As a test, I suggest you reset the working remote from your first Box Mini, and then try pairing it with the second box.

Home + 9, then Home + 7.

(You can always put it back on the first box later, via the same procedures).

If it works, suspect the new remote as faulty.

If it doesn’t, suspect the new Box Mini as faulty.
