You may be right, but quite a few of people I’ve spoke to I’ve all got Indian sounding names

@Cardiffjamesh you really need to do your independent research before switching as it's all on the EE help pages.
It may seem a downgrade but the service reflects the price of the package compared to your old sky subscription.
If you want to record you need the pro box but the mini boxes won't let you watch those recordings, but you can use the catch up apps to watch some shows you didn't watch when they originally showed.
Disney plus isn't yet included but you can use a fire stick for similar device or a compatible smart TV for that app. Who knows if it will be added in future.
If you're out with you cooling period your stuck with it but if you have picked the apple EE TV box you can phone up EE and get it swapped out for a pro box, for a small admin fee.

Yes I’ve paid the admin fee twice and one has been refunded but still has not been sent out. I was told this is due to a device shortage but then it was told it was a computer error still none the wiser expecting a phone call today as I put a complaint in

Ask for a case to be raised and it will be investigated.
As the pro box isn't getting much of a mention on the EE site I am wondering if they are trying to phase the pro box out in favour of streaming like sky, but I could be wrong.
There seems to be separate pages for the EE apple TV box and sky stream but not the pro or mini box.

@Brooster66 They will for your broadband and phone but not any other services you had with the last provider.

glad it's not just me then. I'm settled with it now, but still leaves a bitter taste because of the blatant lies though. I'll certainly be looking for an alternative supplier like Virgin once the contract expires

@AEvans10 Exactly what are you on about? If it’s Disney + that is available if you had an EE Apple TV, as you would then be able to download this to the EE Apple TV as it’s on the Apple TV App Store. It’s not available on the EE tv pro box

If you read my initial comment you'd know exactly what I'm on about - I was lied to at the start, just as many others clearly have been. YES, I have a smart TV, & YES, I can view Disney still, & although it's not the biggest of hardships, I do have to switch remotes & view this on the TV itself......which isn't what I was sold on the phone, & no mention of requiring Apple TV. I'm all setup now, so I'd sooner just leave it as it is, but the fact I was lied to (& not just me) leaves a bitter taste, & I'll certainly be looking to move away from this setup once the contract is done
