Hi EE can you please add to your next update to you TV box. So we can choice what apps we want the parental access is added to.

Having to constantly come down stairs to put a pin in when the kids want to go from prim to Netflix. Is a nightmare i dont want my daughter to have the pin or she will be on YouTube all day and then ill have to deal with a bad attitude. Im shore if you cant do it let use tech guys gave it as open source software like it runn8ng on linx and we will do it for you.

YouView is a shared platform - only partially funded by BT/EE. Whilst there are many things even we would love to do to it, it's ultimately down to YouView and the app owners to implement them.

Apps on the YouView platform have the ability to opt-in to the parental controls configured at the platform level. If they do, then the apps can be opened without PIN, knowing that the content within them will correctly honour the PIN settings. Apps that do not adhere to the platform parental controls have to be PIN protected at launch time instead.
