Just recently I've noticed a strange problem on my Box Pro.
Occasionally, while watching recordings, when I press the remote fast forward tab, the screen goes blank for a short while, then I get the YouView splash screen, then I am dumped back at the home page.
If I then go to MyTV and choose the program I was viewing, instead of offering me the "continue viewing" option, I have to start from the recordings start.
The "jump forward" function on the scroll wheel seems to work as it should.
Do I have an issue with my remote or the box itself?
Many thanks!

Hi @swtrains
Thanks for coming to our community.
How long have you had the box? Is it something thats happened intermittently since you first got it or only a recent issue?

Hi Lesley - I’ve had the box for about 6 months.
I suspect with some overkeen dusting, I managed to slightly loosen my aerial connection at the back of the box - there is also an attenuator there which makes it more prone to being knocked.
Not sure how this could be affected by my remote but the symptoms seem similar to briefly losing input signal.
Thanks for your help - I’ll post back if my fix doesn’t work out.
Out of interest, is there a particular weak channel on Freeview to test signal strength against or should they all be equal strength?

Let's hope that's it sorted @swtrains, only gentle dusting from now on 🙂
Are you wanting to do a signal strength check in general?

Yes - I wondered if there were a best choice channel to check signal strength and quality against while in settings?
I’m guessing a weak channel would be best to choose?

There wouldn't really be a particular channel to check @swtrains, as it will depend on your location and the transmitter that covers you.
Hopefully checking all of the connections does the trick, but if not, it may be worth trying to factory reset the box. There is an option to make sure you don't lose any recordings if you still have anything to watch.
