BT TV to EE TV

I received  my EE Broadband equipment today, after migrating from BT Broadband yesterday.

I’m wondering as EE is a subsidiary of BT if I’ll still be able to plug my BT TV Pro Box in to my television and still be able to what my recordings. Or will my BT TV Pro Box no longer work once my all my EE Broadband equipment has been set.

The TV Box Pro remains the property of BT at all times. If you don't return it, you'll be required to pay a replacement fee, however the box still remains the property of BT and can be restricted or disabled at any time.

But to answer your specific question - yes, the TV Box Pro will currently continue working in a limited capacity after you switch to EE Broadband. You'll lose access to IP channels (including Internet mode) and any recordings of those channels. You'll also lose access to the EE TV Player, but other apps will continue to work (subject to relevant subscriptions with those providers).

The TV Box Pro is only loaned to you as part of an active TV subscription.  If you've cancelled your TV subscription with BT then you'll be required to return the box.  If you've included EE TV as part of your EE Broadband package, then your TV Box Pro will continue to work when it's moved to the new line (there may be a brief interruption in service on your activation date).

I won’t have to return my BT Box for another month or so as standard procedure. Plus I can still buy the BT Box  Pro as an option ie as I have done this with my previous BT Box Pro.

So I still can watch the BT Box Pro for a couple of months or indefinitely (if I pay for it when automatic charged extra on a specific date).

So can I still watch my BT Box Pro this Weekend after I have installed my EE equipment.

Thanks for this!
