Hi
Have just cancelled sky today I then spoke to two different EE people on phone today who told me I could not have additional tv boxes as our speed of line wouldn’t support this. They would only supply one main tv box. We currently have sky multi room and have no probs. It doesn’t make sense. Can anyone explain why?
cheers

Extra boxes are for Box Mini only. Broadband must have 30Mbps minimum line speed and 50Mbps for UHD content. More than one extra box requires 40Mbps and 59Mbps for UHD content. Offer to be redeemed in store, online or via contact centre. If you cancel your EE TV contract the offer will end. Service is for your personal, non-commercial use only and may not be suitable for under 18s. This offer is subject to availability and can be withdrawn at any point.
So what network speed are you going for with EE ?

EE TV is the only TV service in the UK to use multicast - a method of guaranteeing fixed video quality across the internet. If your internet speed isn't good enough, it's guaranteed that the service will not work.
Other providers of video over internet use ABR - this causes the video to drop to a lower quality if the connection speed can't keep up.
Thus we don't allow orders for a service that we know you won't be able to fully enjoy.
