Additional TV Mini Box Request

I have 300 Fibre.  EE TV pro box and 1 tv mini box

Today I rung EE and asked if it was possible for me to have a second TV mini box for the bedroom, I vaguely remember somewhere stating that I could get two TV mini boxes free of charge alongside my main TV box.

Firstly I was advised that I could not have another TV mini box, but she would double check and transferred me to the TV Tech Support team who advised that I could but it would be another £10 per month.

Getting different information from different sources so not sure what is the correct information

Any advice?

The free second TV Box Mini offer ended in June I'm afraid.

You can get one, but it'll be £10 a month.

Dont know the answer, but + £10pm is £120 a year. You can buy them on eBay for under £30. Dont know how/if they'd connect to your account tho.

The TV Box Pro and TV Box Mini are owned by BT/EE at all times.  Any boxes for sale on online auction sites are classed as stolen, and may stop working in future.

Also, all 3 boxes wouldn't be usable at the same time without the associated subscription.

Ah, OK.

It's a wonder there's any sort of market for them in that case.

@DarrenDev

Judging from the sheer number of these, and the absolutely pristine state they arrive in, I’d say there’s a lorry leaving from the other end of the factory from time to time 😛

Having just joined EE from BT and looked through all the bumph provided my understanding is you get one free with the broadband/tv package but if you want two thats £10/ month added to your bill.

It varies to be honest, people get different offers all the time.

If I work through the sales journey on the EE website I get offered an extra box for free and another would be an additional £5 per month.

It is one of the advantages tilted in the favour of EE, as with BT it is usually £10 for one extra box.
