A warning to others - EE will not fulfil your order and try and charge you more

This is a warning to others as EE tried to scam me. I placed an order for a TV with the TNT bundle yesterday. I noticed this morning it was registered to the wrong number and called three times times today.

When I finally got through to someone he said "the order didn't go through" and tried to charge me another £180 to process the order!!! I said I wanted the order I was emailed a receipt for and he said "there was nothing [he] could do."

I have emailed the CEO and filled in the complaints form. I want my order honoured. I have been a customer for years and I really can't believe they have tried to scam me.

Hi @ProfessorWoland

Using the complaints process is the best option.  Let us know how it goes.

Thanks

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone. You can call Freephone +44 800 079 8586 on Skype

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

They have actually tried to scam me. Next step is trading standards. I noticed the “please call us on this number” people are in hiding.

DO NOT BUT FROM EE BECAUSE THEY WILL SCAM YOU

They have tried to scam me after being a customer for years.

They will cancel your order without telling you and then try and  rip you off.

Not a single member of staff has contacted me. Usually you post here and they ping you in your private messages.

I guess I’m going to have to cancel my mobile and broadband.

I’m happy to create a thread every day until you send me the TV I ordered. You don’t get to take an order then demand more money than was advertised to fulfil it.

@ProfessorWoland : They won't necessarily. This is a user discussion group.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

@ProfessorWoland   Placing an order doesn’t mean it has to be accepted.     Only once it’s accepted do they have to honour it    Your original order didn’t go through and you’ve even posted this on your first comment.

Just to point out the CEO will probably not respond to your email as it’s not his job to deal with customers.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

@ProfessorWoland

If you can tell us precisely what you were trying to buy, and where it is on EE’s website, we can form an opinion as to whether your order was placed in good faith, or whether there is an ‘E&OE’ involved here somewhere.
