Hi @MikeSkerrett

Welcome to our community.

EE TV is only available with fixed line broadband connections and not our mobile broadband option.

If you would like to look at switching in order to take out EE TV, our team will be happy to discuss options with you.

Why is that - I currently have my BT TV box plugged in to my new router from my EE aerial and things are working fine - so what's the problem ??

You're only getting the aerial channels - they'd work without an EE TV box. None of the subscription channels work, as they're delivered using multicast over fixed broadband. The apps will work, but you don't need an EE TV box for those either.

So today I disconnected my BT Broadband router completely and plugged in to my EE Router receiving a signal from an aerial. I have been able to watch Now TV, Netflix, Amazon, Discovery Plus and it's recognising things I've tagged in My Tv on all of those channels. The only thing is doesn't pick up is EE TV how ironic when it's EE Broadband I'm using !!

Exactly as I said @MikeSkerrett - you're able to use all of the services that you could have bought without taking an EE subscription. Nothing you're consuming via that connection is coming from EE.

But I haven’t bought any of those services separately - they are all part of my BT TV package which is still in place until Feb 13th so I’m getting all of the things which I currently subscribe to via EE Broadband and TP router ?
