I have just noticed that on my 2nd EE box I don't get all the channels I get on the box for my main TV. Why is this?

At a guess, your first box is  a Box Pro in Aerial Mode, and your second one a Box Mini in IP Mode.

You could run your Box Pro in IP Mode, and get the same reduced number of channels as the Box Mini, but you can’t run your Box Mini in Aerial Mode, as it has no facilities for this.

In IP Mode, the channels come over the internet, not over broadcast, and only channels from the main broadcasters are available in internet mode, hence the reduced channel count.

As a bit of a consolation prize, some of the channels available in IP mode are in HD, whereas they are only in SD in Aerial Mode.

Ideally something to be aware of earlier in the subscription process, but it’s an imperfect world 😢

Some key channels not included are the U ones like U&Drama etc but the shows are available on the U catch up app.
