I have just uograded my phone. My old contract was due to run out. I rang up EE, they gave me a deal of iphone 17 £30 a month for a 36 month contract. I was happy with this deal, I agreed all the terms and signed confirmstion that it would be a monthly bill. My phone arrived today and the ee app is saying my monthly bill is £45! Why is it so much higher?!

Welcome to the community.
I hope you are enjoying your new iPhone 17.
We don't have access to your account here to check the bill, but there are a few things worth checking by downloading the full PDF bill.
The first thing to check is the date on the bill, to make sure that the bill has been created after the new contract has taken effect, as the new plan would only take effect once the phone has been dispatched.
It is also worth looking at the breakdown of the plan charges if the plan has changed mid-month, as there may be a period of charging for the old plan from the date of the change to the bill date, and for the month ahead, but this would only be for this month.
There is more on how part charges may impact your bill on our Why your EE Mobile bill might be higher than usual page.
If you are still unsure of the charges, give our billing guides a call and they can bring up your account and discuss the bill with you.
