I was told that my business contract includes roaming in China

And nothing needs to be fine prior to my trip. Here in China there is no network at all even with roaming turned on! Any thought ?

Are you on a smart plan or a full works plan?

Do you have the Roam Abroad Pass on your account?

Did you activate roaming by texting ROAMING to 150 before leaving the UK?

To add, you've mentioned "roaming is turned on" - what's your basis for saying this?

If you disable auto-network-selection in your phone's connection settings and do a manual search, are any operators shown?
