EE perks

My wife is a retired NHS nurse and has a Blue Light Card. She uses this card for discounts on various purchases. However, when applying for EE Perks,  she has got this message after sending her card details digitally and a photo- 

Thanks for giving us your ID card. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to use this one as we’ve been unable to identify the details in the image. The following supporting information has been provided by the team:

" Please refer to Blue Light Discount terms for adding EE Perk "

 

If you still want to register an account, you’ll need to log in to the EE Perk Portal again and upload a new, clearer ID card.

Well, after much searching, it appears EE Perks does not recognise retired NHS nurses for any Blue Light card discount- see their reply after I asked. So it’s off to  the Apple Store, as they do! EE Perks give military veterans discount but don’t give it to those nurses who have worked long and hard but are now retired- not impressed!  See below:
