I'm having the same problem, I can't view my website. The app is rubbish, when I login (I have seen faster snails) and go to manage web protect it says they are having a problem with it.

And going to the EE site to change settings doesn't work either.

We pay enough for their services, as loyal customers we should have, tech support on hand asap if needed.

They need to update the app it's 2 slow, and doesn't work. They should have stayed with BT at least their tech support was good.

Hi @diabhal

Welcome to the community.

If you're having the same problem using a couple of different devices/browsers, I definitely recommend speaking to our technical support team so they can look into it further for you.

Chris

I was talking to tech support, they said only I can turn it off. I asked if I gave them my login information could they do it and they said no.

I will figure it out myself

@diabhal , do you mean the web protect from VPN? If that is the case, you should have the app and can do it from there, using the app and clicking on insecurity and switching it off there.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

No not VPN

On the app when I go into manage and click on web protect it says:

This service isn’t working right now

We’re working hard to get it up and running. Try again later, visit our website or get in touch if it’s urgent.

Will try it again tomorrow

Morning @diabhal

Thanks for coming to the community.

If you have the same error message today, could you try turning the router off, deleting and reinstalling the app and turning the router back on to connect again. Does this work for you?

Our Using Web Protect on EE page has details on Web Protect and how to manage the settings 🙂
