I had a call from 020 8153 3801 saying they were from EE. They said that EE had merged with BT and they needed to send me a new sim. They asked me for my email address which i (possibly stupidly) gave them and they sent an email from no-reply@info.ee.co.uk with a passcode which i (again, possibly stupidly) provided. The caller said she was going to transfer me after that but got cut off. Can someone tell me if this is a scam and if so, what to do?

Hi @Sh34rer.
Welcome to the community and thank you for letting us know about the call you received.
This number is not an EE number and isn't listed on our Numbers EE partners will call from page, so it would be best to report it using the Report a scam call form.
If you shared the passcode you received, I'd recommend giving our Mobile Care team a call so they can check your account for any changes and make sure this is secure.
