Hi,
Today I received some worrying messages from EE which I am pretty sure are real. First I received a verification code from EE, then a bit later I got a thank you for calling EE, it was nice talking to you today from someone called Reece who I assume works for EE. Then received a PAC code shortly after and in the message am told to call 150 if I didn't request it.
So it appears to me a scammer has managed to call EE on my behalf, pass whatever verification and request a PAC code to be sent to me (and possibly got it on the phone too).
So the questions I have are:
Is this a common occurrence?
Have they somehow already got my Pac code? Would support have told them over the phone?
Why aren't EE's verification steps good enough to stop anybody calling on my behalf?
Calling EE now.

@HarrisKA Have you spoken to customer support about this ? You need to and the sooner the better. it will probably be best to change your EE account password.

Seems that the text message warning the account holder of a PAC being issued, is doing its job of alerting you to potentially fraudulent activity.
As above, contact EE-CS ASAP, change your account password and revoke the PAC before it can be used.
