I am feeling very foolish currently...
I fell for a scam call and gave out my address, previous address, email, name and DOB.
It dawned on me when I received the apparent text from them that it didn't follow the usual format and was missing the internet link I always have and hung up.
They've tried calling back from four other numbers and now I've blocked and reported as spam but I'm really upset with myself.
I never pick up spam calls because they're blocked on my phone but for some reason these got through without telling me they were spam.
Should I be worried?

Good afternoon @Rumbum22.
Welcome back to the Community.
I appreciate this must be so worrying, and you'll certainly not be the first person to be convinced by these kind of calls.
Our top priority will definitely be to get your account secured moving forwards, and definitely make sure we've taken as many precautions as possible to protect you as well.
If you get in contact with our customer care team on 150 from your EE mobile, they'll be able to verify you and ensure we log this at our end and update your password.
I'd also recommend checking out this guide on identity theft from Action Fraud, which gives a great overview of what you can do to minimise the risk of anything untoward happening down the line.

I just had the same call, gave over my addresses, DOB and email and now I'm feeling very foolish....
I hope this doesn't lead to further issues....
I've now blocked all calls as normally spam is blocked on my phone but somehow this got through...

Name, address & DOB are commonly used for security checks for - amongst other things - banks & financial organisations.
Whilst I doubt these details alone should be enough for third parties to gain unauthorised access, they'll certainly help. Keep a close eye on your bank transactions for a little while.
The previous address is also often required for credit applications & searches - so it may be worth obtaining a free copy of your credit file from the main credit reference agencies in a few weeks.

Yes I wondered if they might be able to access credit accounts using my details.
This is so frustrating, Im usually so vigilant about these things.
Thank you

Thank you.
I feel completely idiotic for not realising earlier.

It's really easily done @Rumbum22.
It happened to one of my family members a few years back, all they need to do is catch you at the wrong moment with enough details to seem believable.
We also have a handy guide with more details on these calls and how to spot them on our help pages here.

Thank you.
I just can't believe I didn't follow my first instinct and hang up, way too polite for my own good.
