March 2026, Just received a phone call from 02033714467, claiming to be in the UK but sounded like an Indian call centre. Due to the EE / BT merge, he explained I need a new SIM and DPD would deliver it tomorrow. Sent me a text message to my number with a 6 digit PIN, which he said had been generated by the system, then asked for the PIN which I refused to give him. He got frustrated and hung up. Checked with EE and it’s deffo a scam !
