Hi
I got a call from 07418 374545, they said they were from EE to offer a discount on my monthly bill. They sent me codes via texts and emails, for what they said was verification. Next thing, I get an email saying my password has been changed to my EE account. They knew my address, current bill amount and DOB. Asked me if i wanted to change my direct debit date, thats when i got suspicious and disconnected. I managed to get change my password and get into my account. I am now worried they have had access to my account and seen my direct debit details. They also mentioned how my SIM would be deactivated for two days while they sent me a new sim. Please advise, I have called 150 twice and keep being told the systems are down.

Hi @Shefa85
Welcome to the EE Community.
The number that called you is not from EE. You can check if a call is genuine and from us on our How Do We Contact You page. We may also contact you from our Direct Partners. You can check this at Phone numbers EE partners will call from.
You've taken the right steps to secure your account straight away by resetting your password.
I understand your concerns, however your full bank details are never displayed within your online account, so this should not be an issue.
While you are logged into your online account, please check your address details are correct.
I'd also recommend having a read through Online Security: Avoid and Prevent Scams | EE which has a lot of helpful information about recognising scams.
Please take a moment to report this using the online form at Report a scam call | BT Help
