Scam call

Received a call a little while ago.

young man claimed to be from ee and needed to verify who I was before he could talk about an important issue with my pay as you go account. I’m asked several times what it was regarding and he said it was important. So I ask who it was he was calling and he said he could not answer that until I had confirmed who I was. He then asked me when my last top was and how much. I said I didn’t know (I’m 99% sure it’s a scam at this point). He said he would then be able to send me a one time pin? I suffer with anxiety and this hasn’t done me any good today. Hoping I can help reassure others here.

i just want others to be aware this is happening and this is the number that called me.

01462 341326

i have forwarded the number via the text phishing scam number with Ee.

Leanne 🙂

You can't be too careful and you did the right thing, I had this once with my HSBC credit card, they really do just call you out of the blue and expect you to answer those questions..... send a text first so I know you're calling
