I have exactly the same frustration. In my case, I can’t get the app to pair with my hub. I’ve tried reinstalling the app, resetting the hub, putting my phone right next to the hub while it tries to pair, leaving it for ages, doing all those at the same time!?

Welcome to the community.
You've already done most of the steps that we'd usually suggest to get the app to pair with the hub.
The only other one I'd try would be to restart your phone when you have uninstalled the app.
If that still doesn't get it paired, I'd recommend giving our tech guides a call so they can have a look into this further for you.
