Hi
This morning I answered a call from 01915161645 (Sutherland area) who claimed to be from EE . I was offered a reduced monthly bill due to being a loyal customer with EE for 9 years, I'm wondering if this was legitimate or scam?
Some questions asked were in relation to credit check, such as: home address, date of birth, name, length of time lived at home address, if working and how long been working.
No other information was given or asked for, they offered me broadband discounts but I declined this. I accepted the mobile offer and I had recieved an SMS with a link to view terms an condition of sales, last instruction was to restart my phone. Was this legitimate?
