Had a call from 0800 048 7022 and also WhatsApp +44 7449 144940, email from sale@eepromotions.net.
The woman was telling me about a 50% discount from my current bill but made me change my password and asked me to provide my residential details.
it sounds like a scam but I have accidentally provided my email address and they changed my password. I have changed it back but is there any in addition that I need to report?

@Masa0296 You say you’ve changed it back. The best thing to do is change it to a new altogether.

Hello @Masa0296 ,
Welcome to the community,
That is a scam call, also, EE do not use WhatsApp , they would not ask you for all your personal details. Well done for changing your password they certainly would not change your password..
Yes report it, I would say, the number send to 7726 as SCAM.

Just had the same call, didn't sound genuine from the off. I asked why they were calling me to offer me a 50% discount and was told by 'Oliver' that due to losing g customers they were offering me this for my loyalty. Asked me to confirm my emaila address so I said I wasn't comfortable doing that as felt this could be a scam. He offered me a number to call his manager 'Sarah' to check and I said I wasn't going to call a number either and would rather miss out on the offer. Then Googled the number and found this so glad I did!
