Plan.com

I’ve just received a call from plan.com to say that they are business partners and can help half the costs that I am paying: it seemed initially like they were from EE but the documentation was from plan.com. When I questioned it they said they’d call back once I have read up what I need to. Does anyone know if this is a scam?

Hi @Katie_B  i have contacted them but they lied to me the first time to achieve what they have done do you think they are going to help me now and my contract is meant to be with ee I have never signed anything for plan.com but I need to contact plan.com since ee can’t do anything to help there customers so now no service or contact numbers that I’ve had for over 10 year

Thanks for getting back to me @Tamdc1

If the contract is now through Plan.com we won't have any access to this, please try give Plan.com another call and let me know how you get on.

It’s a total SCAM!

Avoid like the plague! ...

I was cold called by Plan.Com saying they could save me a lot of money every month & I could still stay with my current network provider EE. They said everything would be like for like so I stupidly signed up for a 36 month contact but there's no cooling off period!

Within a day or 2 l received a bill from EE for £850 (the cost of the handset) which I paid. A few weeks after signing with Plan.com I had my first bill for £96.08 for SIM only! I called them & they said it was fine they'd cover the cost of the handset but my monthly costs would remain the same! I couldn't believe it & suddenly felt physically sick & very stupid. I asked how much it would cost to end the contract & they said £3000!

Shortly after this I decided to get a new number with a different provider & stop using my old number. My new provider was only charging £10pm a saving of £86.08! I then started getting emails from Plan.com asking for payments even though I was no longer using their service. I've since received a letter from a debt collection company demanding that I pay £3,905 within 7 days!

Do NOT sign with this company they're complete cowboys!

Hi,

same thing has just happened to me!

did you eventually get your original number back?

thanks

I really wish I'd looked into them before I got into a contract with them. They offered to buy me out of my EE contract, 6 months later I got a letter from a debt collector. They not only didn't pay it, they fobbed off the original people who contacted me on plan.com's behalf and told them I had already paid the bill. I'm now stuck with a three-year contract, paying a minimal amount back to EE (so now both bills total the original EE bill I was paying). I really wish I could go back in time and tell these shysters to do one.

I have also received a call today from plan.com and the girl insisted that they ere in 'partnership' with EE. Naturally I ended the call fairly swiftly but I seriously think EE should contact that company to stop those sales calls and to protect the good name of EE.

Is this a gen company, I had a call today but once they asked from my PUC code red flags where raised. If this is fake why can they use your network for signal?

Hi @APemb83

Plan.com are a genuine Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO), who are partnered with BT Wholesale. They use the EE mobile network but have there own plans and customer service.

If you were moved over to them, you would be moving away from EE.
