Parental control is set to 12+ but adult sites can still be accessed. Why is that? Happening on both iOS and Samsung phone. Please help!

Hi @Ashywashy
Simply put parental controls/filters are not a guarantee only a best bet option for blocking sites and access to certain content. It is very easy for sites and people to bypass any blocks in place.
Thanks

That’s not the response I have got from EE. They’ve told me they can bar ANY service from a mobile number whether that’s normal browsing or private browsing. However, this is still an issue and inappropriate content is accessible via private browsing in iOS despite what EE have said - so not fixed.

Hi - did you resolve this? I’ve found the same problem with private browsing on IOS. It’s a bit of a joke when the whole point of parental controls is to block access to adult content but it’s easily bypassed simply by going onto private browsing, surely the fact it all goes through the same router should prevent it but it doesn’t. EE haven’t been any help resolving it either. Never had this problem when it was BT broadband. At a bit of a standstill on how to resolve it.

Wow, pretty shocking really.
I’m going to look at disabling private browsing on their devices in the meantime, won’t hold my breath on EE resolving anything.
cheers
