Increased spam calls since my new contract

I used to get spam calls once or twice a week but since agreeing my new contract with EE last month, I get at least 3 spam calls DAILY. 
WHY all of a sudden so many? Feels like my info has just been sent on a round robin email to spammers everywhere !

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.
