Email advising disconnecting Mailbox

Hi

I have received an email stating that BT are disconnecting old mailbox version as of tomorrow 20/01/2026, I presume its a scam, only thing is they do have an email address off SECURE@BT.COM as a copied in email. I will forward to your phishing@ee.co.uk email too.

It's great that you have recognised suspicious emails and forwarding it to our phishing reporting email box, So that we can raise a report and have this investigated.

You can also forward the message to the Government phishing reporting service. The UK's National Cyber Security Team will then analyse it and, if it is identified as suspicious, attempt to take them down permanently.

Please delete the email once you have reported the, and be sure not to click on any links in the email.
