just had a conversation with someone from 07418 374409, just wondered if this was a legit number as they've said they can reduce my bill by about £25, felt pretty genuine since they never asked for bank details etc.

Hi @tom1013

If any sales dept called me legitimately from a mobile number, I would be questioning whether I wanted to deal with that company.
Never deal with cold callers, even if it was EE, if you're not expecting a call, hang up. Call them when you want to. If you get offered a deal that sounds too good to be true, there's a reason for that.

I went through with the call etc, the only thing thats was weird or i guess made it seem genuine is the fact they never asked for any bank details etc and they were sending me a samsung tablet via DPD which i thought was strange but then i had a text from my usual DPD number saying that i would have a package delivered today, then 1 of the people rang me about 20 minutes ago just to confirm that i would be home, DPD link shows the drivers location etc since its the actual website so maybe it is legit?

Hi @tom1013 I'd recommend giving us a call so we can check if it was one of our guides that gave you a call.
It does sound like the call was legitimate, if you've received confirmation and a tracking reference from DPD.
I'd like to make sure that you get some peace of mind, so I'd advise calling us, or chatting to us via your My EE app, you can find all of our contact options here: Contact us
