I just had a call from someone purporting to work for EE, wanting to reduce my bill by 30%. The number calling was 0118 328 7134 - is anyone able to verify whether this is genuine please? I'm tending to think that if it looks too good to be true, it almost certainly is.

Hello @andyroscoe77 ,
Welcome to the community,
That number is not one of the numbers that is from EE, so probably not from EE. I certainly would not give any personal details to the person calling you, could be a scam.

It's always best to double-check these things! Just to add to @Schockwave's advice, you can see our Direct Partners information HERE.
You can also visit our page How To Avoid And Prevent Spam to report the number that called you for investigation.
