I have just recieved a text from "BT" saying " Hello. BT here. Thanks for passing security to access your account. If this wasn't you please give us a call on 0800 800 150.
Googled number, seems to be genuine. But I'm still not sure what to do. I find the wording of the text odd.
Anyone else had this text?

Do you have an existing BT account?
If so, have you called customer care to get the text looked into?

Do you have a BT account at all? If so have you contacted BT Customer services at all recently?
The text message is a legitimate notification message sent from BT when a customer calls in, just to confirm.
If you have a BT account but have not contacted BT Customer service, please give them a call on 0800 800 150 to discuss the message you have received.
