I just received a call from 01288 631410 saying they were from EE Mobile and offering me 30% off my bill. They asked me a question about mobile reception in my area and then put me through to their supervisor. At that point I hung up, but then they called back, this time from 01244 631410. It all sounded very suspicious...

Hi @Stewb59.
Welcome to the community and thanks for raising this. It's always best to be cautious with unexpected calls.
If you haven't already, please report the number using our Report a scam or nuisance call form. We’ll pass this on to our partner, Hiya, who’ll use it to improve call protection in the future.
It’s a good idea to stay alert in case of follow-up attempts and to block the number to prevent further contact.
You can find more information about avoiding and preventing scams on our Online Security: Avoid and Prevent Scams Help page.

Day one i had a genuine call from BT, I wanted to combine my BT & EE account. To reduce cost.,
Day two, I receive a call from EE offering a discount, having discussed it with BT day before , hey i think it is EE offering a reduction. After this call i receive a new Iphone 17, Packaged with EE information .
EE call, I complain , i do not want this phone , they agree to collect it. I have kept the EE paper doc enclosed in the package.
Royal Mail arrive ( full Royal Mail clothing ) collecting the Iphone for EE. I ask him to sign , or i dont give it, he signs .This is also part of the scam. Fake Royal Mail operatives. How do i realise this. I report to actul EE the circumstance of receiving an Iphone 17 which i did not order, they send me instructions for DPD return.... Fake Royal Mail have collected it ...

Hi @Carobby
It's concerning to hear this has happened, it does sound like a very elaborate scam.
It sounds like you have already reported this to our customer care team. Are they currently investigating this?
