no sim card

I was on my phone and suddenly it popped up saying no sim, I restarted my phone and took the sim out and put it back in and it’s still searching for a sun what do I do

First thing is make sure sim is in the tray correctly second try putting in aeroplane mode if that don't work go to setting scroll down to phone and make sure ur number is set there if its not shoeing type ur number in and save it

so this is what my phone looks like at the moment i’ve wiped the sim and placed it back in again and it says no sim installed i’ve done the new updated and nothings changed and when i’ve tried to put my number in it says that so i’m not sure on what else to do

Go to the network settings on the iPhone search for a network select a different network to what your on then once that's done select the network your on

Go to Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Network.
By default, Automatic is selected. Turn off the Automatic option Then select a different network to the one your on then once its searched for it select your network see if that helps
