new sim card problems

Have just moved from Plusnet to EE. I am receving whatsapp and texts but no phone calls. I thinnk i put the wrong number in my phone when dealing with the sim card and although apparently my old number is supposedly active I am not getting calls.

When did the number transfer? 

Does the correct number show in your phone settings?

Thank you for responding. Number actually transferred today. Yesterday I understood it had already happened. All is well now as porting is complete and the number in my phone is correct and I can now receive calls.
