migrate an eSIM from Android 8.1 to iPhone 15 Pro

Can anyone help - been waiting all day for an EE callback.  I have finally caved and going to move off my trusty Blackberry Key2 (yes, really - I know, I know - I'm a dinosaur!) to an iPhone 15 Pro Max.  I need to move the eSIM but none of the online tutorials work, stuff is missing on the Key2 cos it's an old Android version, and EE don't let you speak to a real actual person who knows stuff.   Anyone done this, can point me to a decent tutorial that does actually work, any hints or tips?  Not reached pure desperation point yet but it's coming.  Also - I was migrated from Plusnet when they did the changeover to EE and its been fine but never logged into my account - so can anyone give me any tips there as to which email to use (I had several) or username they ported over.  Had to create a new account to write this.

I'm more surprised that the Key 2 supports eSIM, to be fair! This does sound like a perfect case of where a physical SIM is so much easier.

Jokes aside, others are more familiar with this and will hopefully be along shortly to advise.. by which time you could have moved your physical SIM a dozen times over. Sorry, couldn't resist!

Jokes aside the Key2 actually supports a physical SIM and also has 2 eSIM slots.  And can take a 256GB SD card.  More than my fancy new iPhone can.  But hey, the Apple is an 'upgrade'.  And my Key2 is fully encrypted whereas in the 'free' UK, Apple can't do that any more.  Ah well.  Progress I guess.  When I moved to EE the eSIM was the only option.  So I have the app now but don't have a record of which email they used as all my EE comms come via SMS, so any other Plusnet refugees out there able to tell me which email/username was ported across?  Nothing seems to work.
