iPad Data plan

Hello I have and IPad Air that eSIM only.

i contacted EE and want £15 a month for 5gb data a month which I thought is excessive as I am a light user.

I have seen in shops a preloaded EE sim with 120gb for around £45 however that’s a physical sim. But it’s not really clear can a physical data sim be converted to ESIM? As seem much better value for money. Thanks for any help.

What you see in shops is a preloaded or PAYG SIM. There are no eSIMs on PAYG.
