 I have been sent a new sim card but it will not work.

I have been sent a new sim card because my voice sounds like a robot. When I ring people or someone rings me it suddenly cuts them off. The calculator doesn't work. And sometimes doesn't ring at all - and it is a fairly new iPhone

I broke my old fine and didn’t remove the sim card from it. Now have different fons and new sim
