Hi

Getting fed up of EE i have a sim with another network and a sim only with EE i wanted to use my EE sim as an e sim so i could use my other sim physically in my phone at the same time

ive been on live chat via technical support and the help is non exsistant for the last 4 weeks i keep getting mobile plan cannot be added the code is no longer valid. contact your network provider for more information.

They said they would post another out but would cost me £1.50 sorry but im not paying £1.50 because your free facility doesnt work correctly everything with EE is cost and im fed up of it.

I asked for them to cancel the e sim which is apparntly pending in my account so i can request a new e sim via the app but they said they cant do that but happy to charge me £1.50 for a printable version which also might not work.

@Sarahs1986  If you’re on a sim only contract, you can change to an eSIM via the my EE app.   Open the app click the person icon top right then setting and permissions and scroll down down to Activate eSim/sim.  Just make sure your EE sim is in the device at this time.

Hi

ove done this and it doesn’t work the error which I mentioned is what keeps happening doesn’t matter if I’m activating, requesting a new e sim still the same issue

@Sarahs1986   Just to double check you are a sim only contract customer?    That contract will be 12-24 months.     I ask this because some people think they have a contract because they pay a set fee each month for PAYG.

Yes sim only and 24 months

@Sarahs1986   That’s strange you get this with the app request.    You can obtain a QR code from an EE store.  ( free ). You could even request the store to help you with this.    At least you’ll get someone from EE seeing an issue if one occurs.

Hi, I'm having the same problem. On the phone they are are saying that they cannot cancel the esim. and the message I'm getting while trying to download the esim is: This code is not valid, contact your network provider.

If you manage to sort it, please let me know how you did it.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @lovebeingfree

Thanks for coming here.

Do you currently have an eSIM or are you transferring from a SIM card to eSIM?

Do you have a pay monthly account?

Leanne.
